Maruti Suzuki’s sales below estimates

Maruti Suzuki recorded sales of 1,81,630 units in July 2023, up from 1,75,916 units sold in July 2022. The company’s sales were slightly below the market expectation of 1,87,550 units.
Tata Motors reports a decline of a percent

Tata Motors reported a decline of 1 percent in sales in July 2023. The company sold 80,633 units in July, down from 81,790 units sold in July 2022.
Toyota records highest-ever sales

Toyota reported its highest ever monthly sales at 21,911 units in July 2023, up from 19,693 units in July 2022, an increase of 11 percent. Prior to this, the company recorded its highest monthly sales in May 2023 with 20,410 units.
MG Motor sales up by 25 percent

MG Motor has sold 5,012 units in July, an increase of 25 percent from 4,013 units sold in July 2022. "Retail sales were impacted due to severe weather and floods witnessed in major parts of the country recently," The company said in a statement.
Hyundai sales up by 4 percent

Hyundai Motor reported that its sales have increased by 4 percent. The company sold 66,701 units in July 2023, up from 64,851 units in July 2022. While its domestic sales witnessed a small growth, its exports rose by 20 percent to 16,000 units.
Bajaj Auto reports a decline in sales

Bajaj Auto on the other hand reported a 10 percent decline in sales. The company sold 3,19,747 units in July 2023, down from 3,54,670 units in July 2022.

Mahindra and Mahindra
Mahindra and Mahindra reported an 18 percent increase in sales in July. The company sold 66,124 vehicles in July 2023, up from 56,100 vehicles sold in July 2022.
