Porsche has launched its first electric SUV, the Macan EV in India soon after its global debut. The Macan EV is the company’s first all-electric SUV and is based on the company’s ICE Macan.

The Porsche Macan EV is available in two variants – Macan 4 and the Macan Turbo. The company has currently announced the price of only the Turbo variant and it is priced at ₹1.65 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). The base Macan 4 is expected to be priced around ₹1.4 crore ex-showroom.

The Porsche Macan EV features a similar design as its ICE counterpart, but comes with several small improvements. It is equipped with a four-point LED DRL, connected LED tail lamp, new sporty five-spoke alloy wheels and an adaptive rear spoiler. It is based on the company's Premium Platform Electric (PPE) with 800V architecture.

The Porsche Macan is equipped with a 100kWh battery pack for both the variants. While the Macan 4 is claimed to offer a range of 613 km on a single charge, the Macan Turbo offers a range of 591 km.

The Porsche Macan is equipped with two electric motors. While the Macan 4 offers 408 PS power and 650 Nm of peak torque, the Macan Turbo offers 639 PS power and 1130 Nm of peak torque.

The Porsche Macan 4 offers a top speed of 220 kmph and goes from 0 to 100 in 5.2 seconds. On the other hand, the Macan Turbo offers a top speed of 260 kmph and goes from 0 to 100 in 3.2 seconds flat.

The Porsche Macan offers a 12.6-inch digital driver’s display, a 10.9-inch infotainment system, and a 10.9-inch display for the front passenger. It comes with automatic climate control, cruise control, park assist, lane change assist and more.
