Tata Nexon EV facelift introduced – revamped design, up to 465 KM range & more

While Tata Motors will announce the price of the new Nexon.ev on September 14, it is expected to be priced at around ₹15 lakh. The car will compete with the likes of the Mahindra XUV400.

The new Nexon.ev is available in two variants – Medium and Long Range. Both these variants are then available in three trims each – Empowered, Fearless and Creative.

The Nexon.ev Medium Range variant is equipped with a 30.2kWh battery pack and offers a range of 325 km and the Long Range variant has a 40.5kWh battery pack that offers a 465 km range on a single charge.

The Tata Nexon.ev is equipped with a Gen-2 permanent magnet synchronous motor, which is reportedly 20 kg lighter than its predecessor. It incorporates improved cooling and battery management systems.

The Medium Range variant delivers a maximum power output of 129 bhp and 215 Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, the Long Range variant delivers a maximum power output of 145 bhp and 215 Nm of peak torque.

The new Tata Nexon.ev offers a top speed of 150 km per hour and can go from 0 to 100 km in 8.9 seconds.

The Tata Nexon.ev features a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, air purifier, electric sunroof, JBL 9-speaker audio system, ventilated front seats, cruise control, 2-spoke smart digital steering wheel and more.

The Tata Nexon.ev comes with six airbags, 360-degree camera, blind spot view monitor, hill ascent and descent control, auto hold, front parking sensor and more.
