From Tata Punch CNG to Mercedes-Benz GLC – Upcoming car launches in India in August

Several cars were launched in the month of July 2023, including cars like the Kia Seltos facelift, Maruti Suzuki Invicto and more. The month of August also has a couple of key launches and rollouts lined up.

In this post, we look at some of the cars expected to launch in India in August 2023.

Toyota Rumion

Toyota is expected to launch its Rumion MPV in India in August 2023. The car is a rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and is expected to be placed below the Innova Crysta in the company’s line-up. It is expected to be equipped with a 1.5-litre engine, floating infotainment system and an all-black dashboard.

Citreon C3 Aircross

Citreon is expected to launch its fourth car, the Citreon C3 Aircross in India soon. The car is based on the Citreon C3 and is expected to be equipped with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that can deliver 109 bhp of power and 110 Nm of peak torque. It is also expected to be equipped with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster.

Audi Q8 e-tron SUV and Q8 e-tron Sportback

Audi is expected to unveil two new electric cars, the Q8 e-tron SUV and the Q8 e-tron Sportback in India in August. The cars will offer a range of up to 600 km on a single charge. The cars are expected to be priced upwards of INR 1.5 crore and will compete with the likes of BMW iX and the Jaguar I-Pace.

Tata Motors is expected to launch the Tata Punch CNG variant in India in the month of August. The company recently unveiled the Altroz CNG in the country. The car is expected to be equipped with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. It will be equipped with a split tank setup, offering a capacity of 30 litres each.

The 2023 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC is expected to launch in India on August 9. The bookings of the car are already open. It will be available in two variants – a petrol variant and a diesel variant. The car features a 11.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and revamped interiors.
