The momentum is only going to pick up in September as the festive season kicks in. Cars that will hit the market range from the under ₹10 lakh ones to ones priced close to ₹5 crore, giving ample options to people with different budgets.

The Aston Martin DB12 sports car, the successor of the DB11 is expected to be unveiled in India on September 29 with a price tag around ₹4.8 crore. The ultra-premium sports car is equipped with the 4-litre Twin-Turbo V8 engine from Mercedes-Benz and offers a top-speed of 325 km per hour. It will compete with the likes of the McLaren GT and the Ferrari Roma which are already present in India.

The Mercedes-Benz EQE is expected to launch in India in the first half of September, making it the second electric car from the company in the country. The car is expected to come with a price tag above ₹1 crore. The Mercedes-Benz EQE is expected to be equipped with a 90.6kWh battery pack, offering a range of up to 433 km on a single charge. One of the highlights of the car is its 56-inch MBUX-powered Hyperscreen, which features three displays.

The Volvo C40 Recharge is another electric car that is expected to launch in India on September 4. It is expected to be priced around ₹60 lakh and will take on the likes of the Hyundai IONIQ 5 and the BMW i4 in the country. The Volvo C40 Recharge is equipped with a 78kWh battery pack and offers a range of up to 530 km on a single charge.
Tata Nexon

Tata Motors is expected to launch the facelift version of its successful Nexon SUV on September 14. Nexon is expected to feature a revamped design, including a split headlamp design, revamped interiors and a large 10.25-inch infotainment screen. It is expected to be offered in two powertrain options – 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine.
