Drive Toll Free On DND Expressway During Auto Expo Rush

The curtains of Auto expo have been raised for the general and business consumers today. The industry is expecting about 75,000 people everyday at the show grounds and the road leading to the venue, India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, is the Delhi-Noida-Delhi expressway. To cope with the heavy rush SIAM has given directive to the Noida Toll Bridge Company Limited (NTBCL) not to charge people between 5 – 8 PM till February 11. People who are travelling back from the expo grounds can avail the free facility and drive through the toll gates without submitting the regular Rs 25 charge. This charge would be picked up by SIAM on behalf of the visitors.

However, people using the Mayur Vihar toll booth would need to pay the regular charges. T manage excess traffic, NTBL is deploying extra officers and marshals on the roads to make the drive safer and a hassle free one. One can expect the rush to increase during the weekend. The 5 day Auto Expo has already revealed some heavy duty launches to the press, which the general public would also like to see.
