The online registration for the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Main April examination will begin on February 7, 2020. The candidates who did not appear in the January exam or want to improve their scores can apply on the official website jeemain.nic.in.

The aspiring engineers can apply to National Institutes of Technology (NITs) based on the JEE Main 2020 scores. This is why experts suggest re-appearing for the examination. The cut off score for JEE Main 2020 is nearly 90 percentile. However, the top NITs recorded nearly 98 percentile NTA score in JEE Main 2020, January examination.

According to the National Testing Agency (NTA), for those students who appear for both the exams, the better of the two scores shall be considered to calculate the JEE rank. However, in case of a tie, the rank will be calculated based on the candidate’s score in Mathematics.

JEE Advanced is the next phase of examination after JEE Mains. The students that have cleared the Mains examination can later register for the Advanced test.
