Comedians Katt Williams and Kevin Hart have reignited their lengthy feud after Williams' controversial appearance on Shannon Sharpe's podcast.

The ongoing drama between the comedians took a new turn last week when Williams' interview on "Club Shay Shay" went viral. During the nearly three-hour episode, Williams wasted no time launching shots at many of his peers like Steve Harvey, Michael Blackson, Rickey Smiley, and Cedric the Entertainer.

Williams also aimed at Hart by suggesting he's an industry plant who made false claims about the beginning of his career.

The pair have traded barbs over the years, squabbling online and in interviews — take a look at their yearslong feud.

One of the earliest examples of the pair's squabble happened in August 2014 when Williams spoke to TMZ Sports. When asked who he thought was the "funniest athlete," Williams didn't hold back.

"I think that Shaq and Russell Simmons should get out of comedy and stay in their lane," Williams said. "They don't see us making a league of professional basketball players under six foot, so what qualifies these dudes?"

Williams then called Shaquille O'Neal a "bum" and looped Hart into his remarks.

"Get out of here, you bum, before I take the rest of your girls like you took Kevin Hart from me," Williams said. "I want my bitch back."

According to Vibe, Williams took another jab at Hart in March 2016 ahead of the Conspiracy Theory tour's stop in Philadelphia — Hart's hometown.

"I seen your stuff on social media. I know what you do, but you do it for play-play. If you do for real, here it is, Kevin," Williams said in a video shared by HipHop DX. "I got a show at your hometown, in Philly; I'm going to tape my special there. On that sage, we can put whatever you want: a full-court basketball court, a boxing ring, two microphones for a rap cypher, or you can get your ass dusted in comedy on that stage," he added.

Williams added that the bet should be set at $5 million.

"Mr. $28 million in Forbes. I'll be bringing mine in cash, Mitch. Bring yours however you want. And since you not a puppet, don't bring no white people with you then," Williams said.

March 2016: Williams publicly apologized to Hart during a radio show interview.

September 2018: Williams criticized Tiffany Haddish, prompting Hart to blast Williams on "The Breakfast Club."

September 2021: Williams said a comedy-style versus battle between him and Hart would be "cheating."

According to Revolt, Williams told Baltimore radio personality Persia Nicole in September 2021 that he would beat Hart in a comedy battle.

"It's almost cheating for me. I have over 10 specials. I don't have to pick but two jokes from each special and I've already deaded anyone whose last name isn't Pryor anyway," Williams said. "We don't wanna add 52 movies, we certainly don't wanna add 11 specials, we certainly don't wanna add 49 television appearances, we don't wanna add an Emmy."

Williams added, "It's almost a battle we can't really afford to be in ... It probably don't match up the way you think it match up."
