Indian stocks doing well at the markets today

Both the Sensex and the Nifty retained their gains in afternoon trade on Friday as traders remained bullish on earnings prospects of blue chips and financially strong mid caps. The two benchmarks are trading near late August highs as strong gains in overseas markets also propelled local stocks higher.
