The medical examination report of JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar, who was attacked while present in the Patiala House court complex, shows that he received external injuries in the attack. This contradicts the claims made by police that Kanhaiya was unharmed in the whole chaos.

The medical report shows that Kanhaiya Kumar has multiple abrasions on his left foot and nose, apart from tenderness in his left toe.

The student leader was attacked on Wednesday by a group of men dressed in lawyers' robes. Some journalists present there were also harmed.

After the incident, however, Delhi Police Commissioner B S Bassi had claimed that Kumar was unharmed in the attacks as he was "well-protected".
