Michael Cohen ,Donald Trump 's former lawyer and fixer, has said the president's hatred of former PresidentBarack Obama derives from jealousy.- "He's Black. He went to Harvard Law. He graduated at the top of his class. He's incredibly articulate," Cohen said of Obama while speaking with MSNBC's Rachel Maddow on Tuesday.
- "He is all the things that Donald Trump wants to be, and he just can't handle it," Cohen added. "And what do you do if you can't handle it, and you're Donald Trump? You attack it."
- Trump has throughout his first term in office sought to erase Obama's legacy, reversing numerous executive orders and regulations introduced from 2009 to 2016.
- Cohen appeared on MSNBC to discuss his new memoir, "Disloyal." In the book, Cohen makes numerous damning allegations about his former employer.
