Futures are pointing to a lower open for US stocks on Monday as the price of oil is tumbling again.

Dow futures were down 58 points, S&P 500 futures were down 6.5 points, and Nasdaq futures were down 14 points.

Oil was also making new lows on Monday morning, with Brent crude falling more than 2.5% to below $67 a barrel while WTI crude futures were down more than 2% to nearly $64 a barrel.

Stocks in Europe were also trading lower, with markets in the UK and France down 0.9%, while Germany's Dax was down 0.5%.

In stock news, the big news on Monday was the release of McDonald's November same-store-sales, which fell more than expected in November, declining 2.2% against expectations for a 1.7% decline.

In pre-market trade on Monday, shares of McDonald's were down more than 2%.

The economic data flow is quiet on Monday, with the market paying closest attention to the release of Federal Reserve's latest Labor Market Conditions Index, set for release at 10:00 am ET.
