The greeting message feature allows you to set up a greeting when they message you for the first time or after a long break. This allows them to feel welcomed, without you having to reply to each message immediately.
- Open WhatsApp Business app on your phone and click on the three dots menu and then click on “Settings”.
- Now, click on “Business tools” and then click on “Greeting message”.
- Turn on the “Send greeting message” toggle.
- Now, click on the edit button and customise the greeting message.
- You can also select the recipients based on your preference.
- Now, tap on “Save”.
Away message is another helpful tool that allows you to inform your customers that you are currently unavailable to respond. This feature can be enabled in your non-working hours so that your customers know that they will have to wait a bit longer to get a reply.
