Apple ’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC ) will begin on June 6.- The company is expected to make several announcements during the event.

The WWDC 2022 will be held virtually for the third year, however, a small group of developers have been invited to the Apple Park, the company’s second campus in Cupertino.
The WWDC will begin on June 6, 10:30 pm IST. You can watch the event on Apple’s website, Apple TV app, Apple developer app and YouTube.

The WWDC will begin with the keynote address, which is normally aimed at customers. The company will highlight the upcoming updates to Apple platforms this year.
The state of union address is aimed at developers, helping them understand the new tools and technologies being developed by Apple and how developers can integrate them into their apps.
On the same day, Apple will host its Design Awards. As part of this, the Cupertino giant will award developers for art, craft, creativity and technical expertise.
Apple will offer users part of the Apple Developer Program, Apple Developer Enterprise Program and Swift Student Challenge winners the chance to request one-on-one appointments with Apple experts. The company will also post over 150 in-depth session videos.

The main highlight of the event will be the iOS 16 announcements. Apple is expected to announce major updates to the health app and notifications, according to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg. He further added that while a major redesign is not in the cards, we may see some changes to other Apple apps.
In addition to iOS, iPadOS, macOS and watchOS will also receive updates at the WWDC 2022. iPadOS is expected to get improved multitasking features and a “Pro” mode. macOS and watchOS are expected to receive small improvements.
