Realme launched its first TV Stick, the Realme 4K Smart Google TV Stick. It runs on the new Google TV platform and carries an affordable price tag.
The Realme 4K Smart Google TV Stick competes with the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K which is one of the most popular options in this category. Here’s a look at how the two compare.
The Realme 4K Smart Google TV Stick is priced at ₹3,999, while the Fire TV Stick 4K is priced at ₹2,999.
Both the Realme 4K Smart Google TV Stick and the Fire TV Stick 4K feature a similar design, come in black colour and offer an HDMI port.
The Realme 4K Smart Google TV Stick’s remote control has dedicated buttons for Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video and YouTube Music. It also has a Google Assistant button for voice control.
The Fire TV Stick 4K’s remote control doesn’t have dedicated media buttons but it’s got all the required controls as well as a voice button.
The Realme 4K Smart Google TV Stick is powered by Google Assistant for hands-free voice control. On the other hand, the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K uses Alexa for voice control.
The Realme 4K Smart Google TV Stick supports 4K, HDR10 , and HDMI 2.1 as well. You get 4K content with the Fire TV Stick as well in addition to Dolby Vision.
As the name suggests, the Realme TV Stick runs on the Google TV platform with Chromecast built-in and access to the Play Store. Amazon uses the Fire TV UI with all the popular OTT apps, live TV channels, and more for the Fire TV Stick 4K.
