Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi today marked its tenth anniversary in India and unveiled new products at the event, including its latest budget offering, dubbed the Redmi 13 5G.

The Redmi 13 5G is the first smartphone in the country to be launched with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE (accelerated edition) chipset. The company at the event also revealed that it has sold over 25 crore smartphones from 2014 to 2024.

Redmi 13 5G price and availability

The Redmi 13 5G is priced at ₹13,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant and ₹15,499 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant. It comes in Black Diamond, Hawaiian Blue and Moonstone Silver colour options and will go on sale starting from July 12 from Amazon India, Xiaomi Online Store and the company’s authorised retailers across the country.

Redmi 13 5G specifications

The Redmi 13 5G runs on Android 14 with the company’s HyperOS skin on top. The smartphones feature a 6.79-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

In terms of performance, the Redmi 13 5G is equipped with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE. The smartphone is available in two variants – 6GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage. It comes with microSD card support, allowing storage expansion.

Coming to the camera department, the Redmi 13 5G features a dual camera setup at the back consisting of a 108MP primary camera and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, the Redmi 13 5G features a 13MP selfie camera.

The Redmi 13 5G is powered by a 5,030mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The device features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and is IP53-rated for water and dust resistance.

Xiaomi targets 70 crore devices in the next decade



Xiaomi, which sold 25 crore smartphones and 35 crore devices in India in the last decade is now aiming to sell over 70 crore devices in the next decade. The devices include smartphones, audio accessories, smart home appliances and more.
