Upcoming Redmi K30 Pro’s Geekbench listing reveals Snapdragon 865, 8GB RAM

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is expected to announce the Redmi K30 Pro in March. It has been spotted on Geekbench ahead of the launch. The listing has also revealed a few specifications of the upcoming Redmi K30 Pro which offers substantial improvements over K20 Pro.

The Geekbench listing has revealed that the Redmi K30 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset that is also expected to power the OnePlus 8 series and the Galaxy S20 series. As per the listing, it will run on Android 10 and feature 8GB RAM.

Redmi K30 Pro expected specifications

The Redmi K30 Pro is expected to feature a similar design as the Redmi K30. The new Redmi phone could feature a dual punch hole display that will have two selfie cameras on the front and a vertically aligned triple camera setup on the back.

The upcoming Redmi K30 Pro is also expected to feature a 120Hz IPS LCD display with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It could be powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.

There have been reports that the Redmi K30 could be launched as the Poco X2 in India. Going by this, the Redmi K30 Pro may also get rebranded and launched as the successor of the Poco F1.
