Chinese smartphone maker Vivo today launched its latest flagship smartphones, the Vivo X100 and the X100 Pro in its X series in India. The smartphones were earlier launched in China and have finally made their way to India.

The Vivo X100 and X100 Pro are the successors of the X90 and X90 Pro smartphones that were launched in India in 2023. The smartphones come with several improvements over their predecessors, including a more powerful processor, improved cameras, bigger battery and more.

Vivo X100 and X100 Pro price in India

The Vivo X100 has been priced at ₹63,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage variant and ₹69,999 for the 16GB RAM + 512GB internal storage variant. It comes in Startrail Blue, Asteroid Black colour options in India.

The Vivo X100 Pro, on the other hand, is priced at ₹89,999 for the lone 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant.

Vivo X100 and X100 Pro specifications

The Vivo X90 and X90 Pro feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K flat LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 3000 nits peak brightness and 2160Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming. Both the devices run on Android 14 out of the box with the company’s Funtouch OS 14 skin on top.

The Vivo X90 and X90 Pro smartphones are equipped with the new MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset. While the Vivo X100 is offered in 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage options, the X100 Pro is available in a single 16GB RAM + 512GB storage option.

Coming to the camera department, both the smartphones come with Vivo-ZEISS co-engineered imaging system.

The Vivo X100 features a triple camera setup at the back, consisting of a 50MP primary camera with Sony IMX920 VCS bionic sensor, OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 50MP telephoto camera with PDAF, 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom.

On the other hand, the Vivo X100 Pro comes with a 50MP primary camera with a 1-inch Sony IMX989 VCS bionic sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 50MP APO telephoto camera with f/2.5 aperture, 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom.

Both the smartphones feature a 32MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. The selfie camera has been placed in the middle, with a punch-hole notch.

While the Vivo X100 is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support, the Vivo X100 Pro is equipped with a slightly bigger 5,400mAh battery with 100W fast charging and 50W wireless charging support.
