Apple on Monday announced that it is expanding the availability of its Vision Pro device to nine new countries soon. The Vision Pro is powered by the company’s visionOS, which also received an update today in the form of visionOS 2.

“The enthusiasm for Apple Vision Pro has been extraordinary, and we are thrilled to introduce the magic of spatial computing to more customers around the world,” said Tim Cook, Chief Executive Officer, Apple.

“We can’t wait for more people to see the impossible become possible, whether working and collaborating with an infinite canvas for apps, reliving treasured memories in three dimensions, watching TV shows and movies in a one-of-a-kind personal cinema, or enjoying brand-new spatial experiences that defy imagination,” Cook added.

Apple has announced that pre-orders for China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore will commence on June 14, with availability scheduled for June 28.

Customers in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and the UK can begin pre-ordering on June 28, with devices set to be available from July 12.

The Vision Pro is powered by visionOS. With visionOS 2, available as a free software update this fall, all Apple Vision Pro users will gain access to new features.

The upcoming features include the ability to transform photos into 3D memories, intuitive hand gestures for easy access to the Home View and important information, and enhancements to the Mac Virtual Display, Travel Mode, and Guest User features, among others.

The Apple App Store currently offers 2,000 apps designed for Apple Vision Pro.
