I'm going to stick to making four glosses because eight just seems stressful.
First things first I'm gonna take the lipgloss base and separate it into my four bowls. Im just eyeballing how much I think would fit in a tube. The base is actually strawberry scented and it smells amazing.
Now the fun part, I'm gonna create my colors! I'm gonna mix the pigments into my base. I already had a few colors in mind, like the red, pink, and this light baby pink. For the last one, I'm just gonna wing it and see what I get.
I'm gonna mix these really well. You want a smooth and even consistency. It's easier with a small spatula, but you can also use the back of a spoon like me.
Before I fill the tubes, I have to put the little piping thing in my syringe. Make sure it's really on there, because you don't want it falling apart as you're filling.
Now I spoon the gloss into my syringe. You want to avoid any air bubbles in the syringe, so just fill it slowly. This part was so satisfying. So I took the syringe and put it all the way down to the bottom of the tube and started filling it up. Once you get to the top, try to take the syringe out slowly so you don't get excess gloss on the actual tube. You have to leave about eight millimeters of space at the top so the gloss actually closes without exploding everywhere, so try not to overfill it.
And here's how the glosses came out!
This kit, although it is a little bit messy, is so much fun to use, and the formula is not sticky at all. It's super comfortable on the lips. And I think if you're a gloss lover like me, you'd love something like this.
