Currently, SBI has a 63% stake in the fund house and the remaining 37% is held by Paris-based AMUNDI Asset Management. SBI MF is a joint venture between SBI and AMUNDI Asset Management. The fund house made a profit of ₹862 crore in FY21 from a total income of ₹1,619 crore. Zomato becomes a top pick for large mutual fund houses in July

The IPO was open for subscription between September 29 and October 1. The mutual fund company is looking to raise ₹2,768 crore through sale of 3.88 crore shares. The IPO proceeds will go to promoters since the company is a joint venture between Aditya Birla Capital and Canadian firm Sun Life AMC. Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC IPO: Here’s how to check allotment status

However, analysts believe the IPO pricing is undervalued compared to other listed peers HDFC AMC and Nippon India AMC. Burger King India’s grey market appetite surges ahead of the stock debut tomorrow

And, they are betting on financial services firms the most, as their stake in the overall mutual fund holdings increased to 31.56% from 30.56% in July. According to data from AMFI and ICICI Direct, mutual funds invested over $1 billion in July, and their biggest purchases included <keyword id="830092" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="zomato" source="Orion">Zomato</keyword>, <keyword id="268065" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="hdfc-life-insurance" source="Orion">HDFC Life Insurance</keyword>, and United Phosphorus, among others. Some other of the biggest names that mutual funds purchased includes Rakesh Jhunjhunwala-backed Star Health and the government-owned National Aluminium Company, among others. “On a month-on-month basis, the weights of NBFCs, private banks, consumer, retail, automobiles, capital goods, PSU banks, metals, cement, and media increased, while the weights of oil &amp; gas, technology, telecom, healthcare, and utilities moderated,” said a report by Motilal Oswal. Overall, according to the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI), the total assets under management (AUM) of the Indian mutual fund industry increased to ₹37.8 lakh crore in July 2022 from ₹35.6 lakh crore in June 2022. There has been a sharp growth in MF AUMs which grew at around 90% in the last five years. New Delhi, Nov 21 () Kerala-based lender CSB Bank on Thursday raised Rs 184 crore from anchor investors, ahead of its initial share sale commencing on Friday.
CSB Bank, which aims to raise up to Rs 410 crore, has fixed a price of Rs 193-195 per share for the initial public offer.
According to a regulatory filing, CSB Bank has finalised the allocation of 94,54,080 shares at Rs 195 apiece to 24 anchor investors, including five mutual funds. Based on the price, the total proceeds would be little over Rs 184 crore.
Omers Administration Corporation OAC Custody Account (SCV6), ICICI Prudential MF, SBI MF, Aditya Birla Sun Life Trustee, Axis MF, Sundaram MF, HSBC and Ashoka India Opportunities Fund are among the anchor investors.
The shares are being sold to anchor investors at the upper end of the IPO price band of Rs 195 apiece.
CSB Bank's offer involves a fresh issue of shares to raise up to Rs 24 crore and an Offer For Sale of 1.97 crore scrips by existing investors. The latter would be worth around Rs 385 crore.
The share sale would be open from November 22 to 26.
On November 19, the bank's Managing Director and Chief Executive C V R Rajendran said its promoter entity Fairfax India Holdings Corporation's stake would go down to 49.73 per cent from 50.09 per cent.
The promoter entity, which acquired 51 per cent in the bank in February, has five years to reduce holding to 40 per cent and 15 years to go down to 15 per cent in compliance with the RBI requirements.
As part of the same requirements, it had to list by September 2019 and some procedural aspects resulted in a marginal delay, he had said. RAM BAL
