Lightyear, a Netherlands-based company has unveiled the Lightyear 0, the world’s first production-ready solar car. This is an electric car, with the added benefit of solar charging, allowing you to charge your car using sunlight.

The car can run for up to seven months in regions with good sunlight, the car can be driven for up to seven months by charging the device once and letting the solar panels charge the car. The car offers a range of up to 625 km on a single charge and has a maximum solar yield of 11,000 km per year.

The car offers a charging speed of 10 kmph via solar, 32 kmph for home charging and up to 520 kmph using fast charging.
