As the name suggests, the Ola S1 electric scooter is the toned-down variant of the Ola S1 Pro electric scooter. It has a smaller battery pack, reduced range and does not offer features like Hyper mode and cruise control.
The Ola S1 is equipped with a 3 kWh battery pack, a considerable decrease from the 4 kWh battery pack of the Ola S1 Pro. The Ola S1 can be fully charged at home in 5 hours. It offers a certified range of 141 km, down from 181 km on the S1 Pro.
The Hyper mode, one of the highlights of the Ola S1 Pro has also been removed, and the Ola S1 Pro offers only three modes – Eco, Normal and Sports. It has a top speed of 95 kmph.
Apart from lack of cruise control, the Ola S1 retains other features of the Ola S1 Pro, such as navigation, reverse mode, remote boot unlock, side stand alert and more.
Ola has also showcased its electric car, which will be launched in 2024. Aggarwal has claimed that the company’s electric car will be one of the fastest cars in the country and go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4 seconds. He also claimed that the car will offer a range of 500 km on a single charge.
Aggarwal also claimed that it will be the “sportiest” car ever built in India and feature an all-glass roof. The car will be equipped with the company’s MoveOS, which will offer assisted driving features.
We should know more about the Ola electric car in the coming days.
