Tata Punch EV is India’s most affordable electric SUV and comes with a range of 421 km

The Tata Punch EV has been priced starting at ₹10.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Smart variant and goes up to ₹14.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-end Empowered+ LR variant. It takes on the MG Comet and the Citroen E-C3 electric cars in India.

The Tata Punch EV is available in two battery options – Standard and Long Range. While the Standard variant is available in five trims, the Long Range variant is available in three variants, taking the total options to eight.

The Tata Punch EV is offered in two battery pack options. The Standard variant gets a 25kWh battery pack that offers 315 km ARAI certified range and the Long Range version with 35kWh battery pack that offers 421 km ARAI certified range.

The Tata Punch EV Standard variant is equipped with a motor that offers 82hp power and 114Nm peak torque motor and the Long Range variant is equipped with a 122hp, 190Nm peak torque motor.

While the Standard variant can go from 0 to 100 kmph in 13.5 seconds, the Long Range variant can do the same in just 9.5 seconds.

The Tata Punch EV offers dual 10.25-inch infotainment and digital instrument display screens, offering a premium interior similar to the Nexon EV. It comes with paddles on the steering wheel that control the car’s regeneration levels. Other features include ventilated seats, air purifier, sunroof, wireless charger, automatic climate control, and more.

Coming to the safety features, the Tata Punch EV offers six airbags as a standard, 360-degree camera, blind spot mirror, electronic parking brake, cruise control and more.

The Tata Punch EV is available in five colour options – Daytona Grey Dual Tone, Empowered Oxide Dual Tone, Fearless Red Dual Tone, Pristine White Dual Tone and Seaweed Dual Tone.
