Upcoming cars launching in India in March 2024

The year 2024 has started and several cars have been launched in the first two months, from the affordable Tata Tiago CNG Automatic to the Citroen C3 Aircross SUV. The month of March is expected to witness the launch of several cars in the country, from ICE vehicles to EVs.

The expected launches in the month of March 2024 include the BYD Seal, Hyundai Creta N Line and the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift.

BYD Seal

BYD is scheduled to launch its third electric car, the BYD Seal electric sedan in India on March 5. The company already sells the BYD Atto 3 and the BYD e6 in India. The Seal sedan will be available in single and dual-motor options and offer a range of up to 570 km on a single charge. It comes with fast charging support, allowing it to be charged from 10% to 80% in around 37 minutes.

Hyundai Creta N Line

Hyundai launched the 2024 Creta facelift earlier this year and is now all set to launch the Creta N Line, the top variant in the Creta lineup. The Creta N Line is scheduled to be launched on March 11 and is expected to be similar to the Creta, with some design changes. The car is expected to come with dual exhaust, N Line badging and the usual red accents. It is expected to come with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine.

Mahindra XUV300 facelift

The company is expected to retain the same five variants of the XUV300, which will be offered with diesel and petrol powertrains. The car is expected to get a major design overhaul and is expected to offer improved interiors and features.

India’s largest car maker, Maruti Suzuki is expected to launch the 2024 Swift in India in March. The car is expected to come with several changes, including a revamped design, a new three-cylinder engine with improved fuel efficiency and improved interiors. It will be powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine, mated with a five-speed CVT.
