Electric bikes have come a long way and are no longer limited to slow-speed models offering a limited range and slow charging. The past few years, especially 2022, have been great for the electric two-wheeler industry as the sales have received a good boost, led by companies like Ather, Ola Electric, TVS, Revolt and more.

When it comes to electric motorcycles, the year 2023 is expected to be much better for consumers and the auto industry as several companies — including existing two-wheeler giants such as Harley Davidson, Hero, and KTM is expected to introduce their electric bikes in India.

Upcoming electric bikes in India

KTM E-Duke

The Ktm E-Duke is expected to be launched in the month of November in 2023. The bike is expected to have a 5.5 kW battery and offer 10 kW of nominal power. It is expected to offer a range of 100 km on a single charge. The KTM E-duke is expected to be around Rs. 2.50 Lakh.

Hero Electric AE-47

The Hero Electric AE-47 was showcased during the Auto Expo 2020 and is expected to finally debut in June 2023. The electric bike is expected to be equipped with a swappable battery, allowing users to change the battery when they are low on power easily. The bike is expected to offer a range of 150 km on a single charge. Hero electric AE-47 can come at a price range of Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 1.5 Lakh.

Raptee Electric Bike

Raptee is also expected to introduce its electric bike in India in 2023. The company’s electric bike was spotted earlier this year and is expected to be launched in the month of September 2023. The bike is expected to offer a top speed of 135 km per hour and a range of 150 km on a single charge. The Raptee Electric Bike is expected to be priced at Rs. 2.90 Lakh.

Harley Davidson LiveWire S2 Del Mar

Harley Davidson’s electric arm Livewire is expected to launch S2 Del Mar in June 2023 in India. S2 Del mar is a premium range electric bike which could be priced at around Rs. 20.00 Lakh. The S2 Del Mar can go from 0-100 kph in just 3.5 seconds.

Evoke Urban S

Evoke, an electric bike manufacturer is set to launch its much-anticipated Urban S model in India in September 2023. The Urban S is a sporty, feature-packed electric bike with impressive acceleration, going from 0 to 100 kph in 5.9 seconds. Equipped with a powerful 103.6 V/72.9 Ah battery.
