New Delhi, Mar 11 () Copper futures on Wednesday traded 0.07 per cent lower at Rs 427.50 per kg after participants offloaded their positions on weak spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for March delivery fell by 30 paise, or 0.07 per cent, to Rs 427.50 per kg in a business turnover of 2,835 lots.

Similarly, copper contracts for April delivery traded lower by 15 paise, or 0.03 per cent, to Rs 430.30 per kg in a business turnover of 64 lots.

Traders said subdued demand in spot market mainly pushed down copper prices here. VHP RUJRUJ
