JPMorgan's top metaverse and crypto exec, Christine Moy, announced her departure from the bank for an unspecified opportunity on Tuesday.

Led by Moy, JPMorgan last week launched its Onyx lounge in Decentraland, becoming the first major bank in the metaverse.

She broke down her accomplishments in a farewell LinkedIn post, many of which included research and publications on topics like cryptocurrencies, blockchain, and digital assets.

Her departure comes after nearly two decades at JPMorgan, and her most recent promotion included the titles global head of crypto and metaverse. She was an early advocate for the bank's adoption and use of cryptocurrencies and NFTs.

"As for my next world building adventure, please stay tuned," she wrote. "I am super excited to share with you what is next!"
