Drake is going on tour for the first time in 4 years and fans are outraged at the high prices
  • Grammy award-winning rapper Drake announced his "It's All a Blur" tour happening this summer.
  • General public tickets went on sale Friday afternoon, and fans are sharing their wins and losses on social media.

Tickets to Drake's "It's All a Blur" tour went on sale Friday, and fans say they're $4 after seeing how costly it would be to attend

The Canadian rapper $4 featuring rapper 21 Savage on Monday, his first since 2019 despite performing at a handful of music festivals and special concerts over the last four years. By the time the tickets were released to the general public on Friday, fans took to social media with complaints, jokes, and pleas of desperation over difficulty securing seats and high prices.

While ticket prices were advertised starting at $69 on Ticketmaster, fans were quick to share videos showing upper-level seats on sale for $200. Others reported seeing tickets $4, and ticket reselling site $4 in certain cities as of Saturday afternoon.

Some fans purchased nosebleed seats and said they're just happy to be in the same building as their favorite artist, while others have compared the difficulty in securing seats to getting tickets for $4 — which is also slated for this summer — as a comparison in their complaints.

"i got nosebleeds but (I don't care) i need to be in the same building breathing the same air as drake," one fan wrote, and another said they paid $300 for tickets in the same area for a different city.

Other tweets blamed Ticketmaster for the high prices despite Drake's tickets being released on at least one other ticket outlet.

"$200+ for nosebleed drake tickets is criminal…. TICKETMASTER YOU WILL CRUMBLE," $4.

And it's not the first time in recent months that Ticketmaster has been in the hot seat with concertgoers. Like Drake and Beyoncé, fans of $4 at difficulty to obtain tickets and high prices to her 2023 Eras tour.

On Friday, the platform said it would refund fans of rock band The Cure after lead singer $4
