India woke up to a happy Monday morning as musicians Shankar Mahadevan and Zakir Hussain's 'Shakti' band won the Best Global Music Album award for 'This Moment' at Grammys 2024.

In an acceptance speech, Mahadevan said, "Thank you boys. Thank you God, family, friends and India. India, we are proud of you."

His shout-out to the nation evoked a loud cheer from the crowd. Mahadevan also thanked his wife for her constant support.

The group also features guitarist John McLaughlin, percussionist V Selvaganesh and violinist Ganesh Rajagopalan.

Taylor Swift creates history

Taylor Swift created history at the Grammys 2024 by becoming the first person to win Album of the Year four times. The American artiste bagged the award for 'Midnights'.

'Midnights' is Swift's 10th studio album. The pop star was also nominated for record of the year, song of the year, best pop solo performance, best pop duo/group performance and best pop vocal album.

She defeated her fellow nominees Olivia Rodrigo, Jon Batiste, Boygenius, Miley Cyrus, Lana Del Rey and Janelle Monae.

It's a big day for pop singer Miley Cyrus as she just won her first-ever Grammy.

Cyrus bagged the award for Best Pop Solo Performance for her track 'Flowers'. She triumphed over Doja Cat, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift.

She received the coveted trophy from veteran singer Mariah Carey.

Singer Billie Eilish bagged the Song of the Year honour for 'What Was I Made For?' from 'Barbie'.

Taking to X, Grammys shared a post and wrote, "Congrats Song Of The Year winner - "What Was I Made For?" @BillieEilish & @FINNEAS#GRAMMYs."
