At 11:32 a.m. ET the New York Stock Exchange halted all trading due to some "technical issues." While this is still being investigated, all symbols are not trading and all open orders are now canceled.
Naturally, the internet reacted in the best (and worst) ways possible.
People started tweeting jokes at a rapid pace. The only problem? All of them were pretty much the same.
These people tweeted "Glitch better have my money," referencing Rihanna's colossal song of the summer "B*tch Better Have My Money."
"Glitch better have my money" - all NYSE traders rn

These people wanted the NYSE to "blow on it," a practice perfected by all '90s kids who thought video game cartridges could be revived by blowing air into them.
Hey @NYSE take the cartridge out, blow on it and put it back in
- Alex Fitzpatrick (@AlexJamesFitz) July 8, 2015
.@NYSE just blow on the cartridge and if that doesn't work shake it against your knee
- KStreetHipster (@KStreetHipster) July 8, 2015
Hey @NYSE make sure it's on channel 3, and blow in it a few times.
- Justin Allison (@JustinBAllison) July 8, 2015
These people wanted the NYSE to "unplug" their system.
Some contractor just charged the #NYSE $77M for a fix: CTRL+ALT+DEL > Task Manager > end a random process > unplug modem and router > pray.
- Gilbert Tang (@gilberttangjr) July 8, 2015
#NYSE Unplug it then plug it back in again...idiots.
- Dave Ryan (@maddogg2463) July 8, 2015
Hey #NYSE, did you unplug it and plug it back in?
- Brittany Browers (@DJTrashTalkSTL) July 8, 2015
Can you please unplug it .... Wait 30 seconds ... Then plug it back in ... This fixes most problems. https://t.co/yJYlH3f9kt

Despite all of the same jokes being circulated, there's one mystery yet to be solved. This guy predicted two major events way back in 2013, tweeting:
Glitch better have my money.
- Aniyar Uoke (@eclecticbrotha) October 24, 2013
How did he predict Rihanna would have a song titled "B--- Better Have My Money" and that the New York Stock Exchange would glitch? Hmm. Business Insider reached out and we will let you know if we hear a response.
