Hero winning over a villain’s heart with his good deeds or great words isn’t always a filmy scenario, it happens in real-life too! Take for instance the case of Rahul Yadav of housing.com , who resigned from the position of Directorship, Chairmanship and the CEO position with a nasty email yesterday. He played the badass and left the company claiming that the board members and investors aren’t intellectually capable enough, but here is an interesting turn in the story. After having a ‘healthy’ discussion with the board has Rahul Yadav's decided to stay on with housing.com.
While we are not so sure what lead really led to a sudden change of heart and who—among board members and Rahul Yadav—played the badass, but we are still shocked by the official statement that housing.com has recently released. It says:
In the relatively short period of its existence, Housing has revolutionized thereal estate market in India and it continues to lead and disrupt with world class product innovations.
Today the Housing board met, and has been reconstituted to include all main shareholder representatives. After some good conversations the board has reaffirmed its faith in Rahul Yadav's vision at Housing.
Rahul commented that "After some frank and healthy discussions with the Board I have agreed to withdraw my resignation and I apologize for my unacceptable comments about the board members. I look forward to staying on at Housing as CEO and building an even greater company, while working in full harmony with the board".
But would Rahul Yadav stay on with the firm for long? Only time will tell!
