On the occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also participated in the ‘Run For Unity’ — which takes place every year to mark Sardar Patel’s birth anniversary. Modi also unveiled Patel’s Statue of Unity in Gujarat — which is the world’s tallest statue in the world at a height of 182 metres same day last year.
