While many find bliss, it’s not all happy endings. According to the security research firm Sophos, there’s a rising trend of hackers targeting dating apps to trick victims into installing fake cryptocurrency apps on their smartphones.
The report cites that at least $1.4 million has been stolen by way of crypto romances on Tinder, Grindr, Bumble and others.
