  • Elon Musk’s cryptic tweet has sparked another rally for the Shiba Inu cryptocurrency.
  • The crypto community, however, is divided over which Shiba-based cryptocurrency was on Musk’s mind.
  • One set of investors believes that his tweet may not have had anything to do with the dog breed but more to do with rabbits or bunnies.

Another one of tech billionaire Elon Musk’s tweets have sparked a rally for the Shina Inu token. An hour after putting the tweet out into the Twitter cryptoverse, Shiba Inu saw a jump of 21%. As of 6:30 pm Indian Standard Time (IST), the cryptocurrency continues to register gains of 8% over the last 24 hours.

This is the second time this month that a tweet by Musk has preceded a rally in Shiba Inu or the SHIB token.

But, Shiba isn’t the only one to see gains on the heels of Musk’s cryptic tweet. Other meme coins — knockoffs of the original Dogecoin token like Shiba Inu — saw momentum as well.

Bunny coins are hopping along as well
Many believe that Musk’s ambiguous tweet isn’t a reference to Dogecoin or Shiba Inu or even a dog. Instead, they’re betting on it to be a rabbit.

Musk’s message remains open to interpretation — whether it’s about Shiba Inu coins, Dogecoin, or bunny-related cryptocurrencies.

Love him or hate him, the Tesla and SpaceX founder still has considerable influence over the cryptomarkets after helping Dogecoin break into the mainstream a couple of years ago.
