The K20 Pro, Xiaomi’s latest smartphone, has left fans unhappy with its price. Manu Kumar Jain, the Managing Director of Xiaomi India, took to Twitter to explain why the K20 Pro is more expensive in the Indian market than in China.

Import duties being one factor, the K20 Pro is also expensive because it’s powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset — a relatively new offering by the microchip manufacturer. And, despite its price, it's still the cheapest smartphone in India with the Snapdragon 855.

FaceApp is the number one app on both, iOS and Android, app stores amid data privacy concerns. It’s also the number one app in India despite issues of connectivity.

Users have been pointing that FaceApp can potentially share your data with third-party apps and also has the license to use your images even if you leave the app. While that may be true, the same licensing terms of use also apply when you’re using other popular apps like Instagram and TikTok.
