In the Dindori Lok Sabha constituency of Maharashtra, there are six assembly seats including Niphad, Dindori, Nandgaon, Kalvan, Chandvad, and Yewla. Four of them are general seats while Kalvan and Dindori are reserved for ST contestants.

For the 2019 assembly elections, Shiv Sena is fielding Sangram Kupekar against the INC candidate Shirishkumar Vasantrao Kotwal. The Shiv Sena contestant for the Nandgaon constituency is Suhas Khande. From the Yewla seat, Sambhaji Pawar will represent the Shiv Sena – BJP alliance. Sambhaji Pawar faced the 2014 elections on behalf of the SHS and lost the chance last time. He recently joined the Shiv Sena party and has been given a seat now.

As per the election commission’s notification, the general elections for all the constituencies of Maharashtra will happen in a single phase on October 21, 2019. The votes will be counted on October 24, 2019.

In 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the Dindori constituency voters elected the BJP candidate Chavan Harishchandra Deoram who got 247,619 more votes than Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar of NCP.

In the 2014 assembly elections, Anil Sahebrao Kadam of the SHS won over the NCP candidate Bankar Diliprao Shankarrao with a margin of 3921 votes from the Niphad seat. From the Dindori (ST) constituency, NCP’s Zirwal Narhari Sitaram got 12633 seats more than SHS candidate Dhanraj Haribhau Mahale. The winner from the Kalwan (ST) seat was Gavit Jiva Pandu of CPM who got 4786 votes more than Arjun Tulshiram Pawar of NCP. From the Chandwad seat, BJP’s Dr. Aher Rahul Daultrao secured 11161 more votes than INC’s Kotwal Shirishkumar Vasantrao. The winner from the Yevla seat was Chhagan Bhujbal of the NCP who secured 46442 seats more than SHS candidate Pawar Sambhaji Sahebrao. The Nandgaon constituency winner was Pankaj Chhagan Bhujbal of the NCP who won over Suhas Dwarkanath Kande of SHS with a margin of 18436.
