Rudy Giuliani is "nervous" about being targeted in Georgia's elections investigation and just wants to "die a free man," a former aide $4 on Tuesday.
The former New York City mayor and personal attorney to Donald Trump was told on Monday that he was a target of the criminal probe in Fulton County, Georgia, regarding efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election, $4.
Ken Frydman, who worked as Giuliani's press secretary during his first mayoral campaign in 1993, told CNN that he was "nervous" about the probe because "he knows he lied to investigators."
$4"He knows how the DOJ works. He knows how the FBI works. He knows these are meticulous investigations," Frydman told CNN. "He knows that he concocted this scheme. He knows he lied for his client, and he knows we all know."
"I think, at this point in his life, his goal is to die a free man."
Earlier this week, Michael Cohen — Trump's former personal lawyer and fixer — speculated that Trump could $4 for potential criminal charges that might stem from the $4.
Giuliani, who has not been given any charges, is set to testify before a grand jury in Georgia on Wednesday, $4 and The Times reported.$4
Giuliani plans to claim attorney-client privilege if he is asked to discuss his relationship with Trump, his lawyer Robert Costello told The Times.
"If these people think he's going to talk about conversations between him and President Trump, they're delusional," Costello told The Times.
Costello did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment.
Giuliani was one of the key figures who touted Trump's unfounded claims about stolen ballots in Georgia after the 2020 election. President Joe Biden won the state — a longtime GOP stronghold — by roughly 12,000 votes.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis opened her investigation into the efforts to overturn the election in Georgia after $4 reported on a January 2, 2021, phone call between Trump and Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.
