Over the past few years, Herman had been a steady presence in Woods' life. While the two kept their relationship relatively private, Woods relied on Herman in some of the tough times he has experienced over the past few years, as well as shared his highest moments.

In the years since they were first photographed together publicly, Herman has been through a lot with Woods.
When Woods $4 — his first competitive win after multiple back surgeries put the future of his career into question — Herman was one of the first people that embraced him.
A year later, Herman was standing just off the 18th green at Augusta National with the rest of his family on Sunday, as Woods sunk the final putt of the tournament to win his fifth green jacket.
But it hasn't all been easy for Woods and Herman. After Woods' car accident in February 2021, Herman helped Woods with his recovery.
"There was a point in time when, I wouldn't say it was 50/50, but it was damn near there, if I was going to walk out of that hospital with one leg," Woods $4 in his first interview after the accident. "Once I [kept it], I wanted to test and see if I still had my hands. So even in the hospital, I would have [girlfriend] Erica [Herman] and [friend] Rob [McNamara] throw me something. Throw me anything."

Woods played a light schedule in 2022, competing in big events like the Masters and Open Championship.
In August 2022, Woods and Herman were photographed together at the US Open in Flushing Meadows, NY, as guests in Serena Williams' box.
In October 2022, Herman filed a tenancy lawsuit against Woods' trust, alleging that the trust that owns the golf star's mansion locked her out of their shared home and pocketed $40,000, according to court documents.
"By trickery, agents of the Defendant convinced the Plaintiff to pack a suitcase for a short vacation and, when she arrived at the airport, they told her she had been locked out of her residence, in violation of the oral tenancy agreement and in violation of Florida law," Herman's attorneys wrote in the complaint.
Herman claimed in the suit that there was an oral tenancy agreement for the 6 years $4, alleging that there were 5 more years left in the agreement.
In 2023, Woods played his first event of the PGA Tour year at the Genesis Invitational in California, a tournament which he serves as host. Herman did not appear to be present at the event.
It is unclear when the couple broke up.
In March 2023, Herman filed suit against Woods in Martin County Florida Court, seeking to nullify a non-disclosure agreement. In the suit, Herman cites the Speak Out Act, a congressional bill signed into law in December 2022 that prohibits NDAs from being enforced in cases of sexual harassment or assault.
It's not the first time that Woods has had the NDA of an ex-girlfriend head to court. In 2018, $4 that Woods' ex Kristin Smith, whom Woods had dated before his relationship with Herman, had gone to arbitration over a non-disclosure agreement.
