The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2022 has officially kicked off with in-person conferences, booths and virtual briefings. There have been a ton of announcements and product unveilings already, and one area that’s seen several new launches is laptops. At CES 2022, brands including HP, Asus, Dell, Acer and more have announced a series of gaming laptops, ultrabooks, and chromebooks.

The list is long but we’ve rounded up some of the top laptops announced at CES 2022.

HP


HP’s 2022 laptop lineup features new models in the premium Elite series, OMED gaming series and a new Chromebook as well. The HP Elite Dragonfly G3 is a 13.5-inch Windows 11 business laptop. The HP Elite x360 1040 G9 and EliteBook 1040 G9 are thin and light ultrabooks with a 5MP camera. HP also unveiled the Elite Dragonfly Chromebook Enterprise for business, and the Elite Dragonfly Chromebook.

In the gaming segment, HP upgraded the OMED 16 and OMEN 17 laptops with the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series GPUs and 12th Gen Intel core processors.

Dell


Dell showed off its premium XPS 13 Plus laptop with an all new design and a haptic touchpad. It features larger keys with no space between them, and the laptop is powered by the latest 12th Gen Intel P-series processors.

Dell had more announcements in the gaming segment with new Alienware X14, X15 and X17 laptops supporting up to Intel’s Core i7 processor and NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti GPU. It also announced the Alienware M17 R5 Ryzen Edition with up to the AMD Ryzen 9 6980 HX processor, and NVIDIA 3060 GPU.

Asus


Asus was all about gaming at CES 2022 with new models in its ROG Zephyrus and Flow series. ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 is a dual-screen gaming laptop with a 16-inch primary screen and a 14.1-inch touchscreen. This laptop supports up to AMD Ryzen 9 6900HZ processor and NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti graphics card. The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 and G15 and the ROG Flow X13 are AMD-powered laptops that can be configured with up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

Acer


Acer at CES 2022 took the wraps off new Chromebooks and gaming laptops. It announced the Chromebook Spin 513, Chromebook 315, and Chromebook 314. The Acer Chromebook Spin 513 is powered by the MediaTek Kompanio 1380 processor, while the Chromebook 315 and Chromebook 314 feature the Intel Celeron processors.

Acer also announced the Predator Triton 500 SE, Predator Helios 300 gaming laptops with the latest 12th Gen Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series laptop GPU. The Acer Nitro 5 also comes with AMD Ryzen 6000 models.

MSI


MSI had an extensive CES 2022 briefing with several new gaming and creator laptops. The very long list includes the MSI Stealth GS77 and GS66 with 17-inch and 15.6-inch displays, Intel Core i9-12900H processor, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti laptop GPU. The MSI Raider GE76 and GE66 are the more good looking offerings with powerful specifications. Then there’s the MSI Vector GP76 and GP66 laptops with Intel Core i9 processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 laptop GPU.

MSI also announced the Katana GF76 and GF66 gaming laptops which are the most affordable from the company, and the Crosshair 15 along with the Ubisoft Rainbow Six Extraction-themed Crosshair 17 laptop. The Pulse GL76 and GL66 (2022) are MSI’s budget offerings, while the Creator Z17 and Z16P are creator-dedicated laptops.
