LinkedIn isn't just a place to share resumes and work experience. The service continues to add regular social media features, and Stories is a recent example.

Modeled after Instagram Stories, it's a way to combine photos, videos, text, and stickers into a casual post that disappears after 24 hours. But before you feel safe posting just anything as a story, remember that any LinkedIn user can take a screenshot of your story, essentially making a permanent record of it.

What you need to know about LinkedIn Stories notifying you of screenshots

Will you be notified if someone takes a screenshot of your LinkedIn story? Unfortunately, no. LinkedIn does not notify you if another user takes a screenshot of your LinkedIn story.

This is similar to the way Twitter deals with screenshots of its new Stories-like feature, fleets. That is to say, Twitter does nothing as well, not notifying the owner if a fleet is captured. Among the main social media services, only Snapchat prioritizes your privacy when it comes to screenshots, fully informing anyone who has had their content captured.
