Motorola is all set to introduce a new budget device, dubbed as the Moto G22 in India. The smartphone was announced in Europe last month and will make its debut in India on April 8.
The Moto G22 is the latest budget offering in the company’s G series. The device has been listed on Flipkart ahead of the launch. Let’s take a look at everything we know so far about the upcoming device.
The Moto G22 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is priced at 169.99 Euros (₹14,070 approx.) in Europe. We expect the device to be priced similarly in India. If it is launched under ₹15,000, it will compete against the likes of Poco M3 Pro, Realme 9i and the Redmi Note 10T.

The Moto G22 is expected to be available in Cosmic Black, Iceberg Blue, Mint Green and Pearl White colour options from Flipkart, Motorola online store and authorized offline stores across the country.

The Moto G22 runs Android 12 with the company’s My UX on top. It features a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio.

The Moto G22 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G37 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It comes with a water-repellent design and features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Coming to the camera department, the Moto G22 features a 50MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, 2MP depth camera and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, the device sports a 16MP selfie camera.
The Moto G22 is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 20W TurboPower charging. The device supports Dual 4G VoLTE and is equipped with a USB Type-C port.
