The Motorola Edge 50 Pro, a mid-range smartphone has received several upgrades, offering a revamped design, new UI, improved battery and more.
The company has joined the likes of Samsung and Apple in offering AI-enabled features with the smartphone.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro has been priced at ₹31,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant and ₹35,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage variant.
The device comes in three colour options – Luxe Lavender, Moonlight Pearl and Black Beauty. The device will go on sale from Flipkart, Motorola Online Store and the company’s authorised retail stores nationwide from April 9.
The device takes on the recently launched OnePlus Nord CE 4, powered by the same processor.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro runs on Android 14 out of the box with the company’s new Hello UI. The smartphone will get three years of Android updates and five years of security updates. It features a 6.7-inch 1.5K 144Hz curved pOLED display with HDR10+ support and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. It is available in two variants – 8GB RAM with 256GB of internal storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB of internal storage.
Coming to the camera department, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro is equipped with a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom. The device comes with several AI-powered features for the cameras, including AI adaptive stabilisation and AI photo enhancement.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is powered by a 4,500mAh battery and comes with 125W fast charging support and 50W wireless charging support. Do note that the base variant only gets a 68W charger in the box while the top-end variant gets a 125W charger in the box. The device comes with IP68 water and dust resistance.
