  • Poco has launched its latest 5G budget smartphone, the Poco M6 5G in India.

Poco on Friday announced the launch of its latest affordable 5G smartphone, the Poco M6 5G in its M series. The device is the successor of the Poco M5 and comes with a few minor improvements over its predecessor.

The Poco M6 5G is the rebadged version of the Redmi 13C 5G that was introduced in India in the first week of December. This comes soon after the company launched the Poco C65, an affordable 4G smartphone in the country.

Poco M6 5G price and availability

The Poco M6 5G is priced at ₹10,499 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, ₹11,499 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and ₹13,499 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The device comes in Galactic Black and Orion Blue colour options and will be available exclusively from Flipkart from December 26.

Poco M6 5G specifications

The Poco M6 5G runs on Android 13 with the company’s MIUI 14 for Poco skin on top. The smartphones feature a 6.74-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

In terms of performance, the Poco M6 5G is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset. The smartphone is available in three variants – 4GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage, 6GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage, along with microSD card support up to 1TB.

Coming to the camera department, the Poco M6 5G features a 50 primary camera at the back and comes with a 5MP selfie camera.

The Poco M6 5G smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery coupled with 18W charging support. It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, allowing users to unlock their phone easily.
