Chinese smartphone maker Realme on Wednesday launched its latest smartphone, the Realme 12+ 5G in India. The company had already launched the Realme 12 Pro and the Realme 12 Pro+ in the country.

The newly launched smartphones have been placed below the existing Realme 12 series smartphones and are aimed at users looking for more affordable options. The newly launched smartphones from Realme will take on devices like the recently launched Galaxy F15, Oppo F25 Pro and more.

Realme 12 5G and Realme 12+ 5G price in India

The Realme 12 5G is priced at ₹16,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128 storage variant and ₹17,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128 variant. The device comes in Woodland Green and Twilight Purple colour options.

On the other hand, the Realme 12+ 5G is priced at ₹18,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and ₹22,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage variant. The device comes in Navigator Beige and Pioneer Green colour options and will go on sale from today.

The Realme 12+ 5G runs on Android 14 out of the box with the company’s realme UI 5.0 on top. The realme UI 5.0 is the company’s custom skin which offers a customised version of Android. The smartphone features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

While the first two smartphones in the Realme 12 series were equipped with Snapdragon chipsets, the Realme 12+ comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset. It is available in two memory variants – 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage.

The Realme 12+ 5G features a triple camera setup at the back, consisting of a 50MP primary camera with Sony LYT-600 sensor and OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, the device sports a 16MP selfie camera.

The smartphone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. It comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and is IP54 rated for water and dust resistance.

The Realme 12 5G features a dual camera setup at the back, consisting of a 108MP primary camera and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, the device sports a 16MP selfie camera.

The smartphone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
