  • Samsung has launched the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6 foldable smartphones.

Korean smartphone maker Samsung today hosted its Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris, launching several new products including the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Ring and more.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip are the successors of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 respectively. Both the foldable smartphones run on Android 14 out of the box with OneUI 6.1.1 on top.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 price in India

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 has been priced at ₹1,64,999 for the 256GB variant, ₹1,76,999 for the 512GB variant and ₹2,00,999 for the 1TB variant.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 specifications

Starting with the Galaxy Z Fold 6, it features a large 7.6-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. On the outside, the device features a 6.3-inch HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The outer display is slightly larger than the predecessor.


The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chipset, which was also used for the company’s Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphone. The device is available in three memory options – 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 512GB storage and 12GB RAM + 1TB storage.

Coming to the camera department, the device features a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 12MP ultra-wide angle sensor, a 50MP wide-angle camera with OIS and a 10MP telephoto sensor with OIS. It comes with two selfie cameras – a 10MP selfie camera on the cover display and a 4MP under-display selfie camera on the internal display.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is powered by a 4,400mAh battery with 25W charging support, which can charge the device up to 50% in just 30 minutes. It also supports wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 price

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 has been priced at ₹1,09,999 for the 256GB variant and ₹1,21,999 for the 512GB variant.

Coming to the Galaxy Z Flip 6, the device features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ internal display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a large 3.4-inch HD Super AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate.


The Galaxy Z Flip is also powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chipset. It is however available in two options only – 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage.

Coming to the camera department, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 features a dual camera setup at the back consisting of a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 50MP wide-angle camera with OIS. The device comes with a 10MP selfie camera on the front.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is powered by a 4,000mAh battery coupled with 25W charging support, which can power it up to 50% in 30 minutes. It supports Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.

Galaxy Ring

Samsung has also launched the Galaxy Ring, the company’s first smart ring. The device, which weighs between 2.3 to 3 grams is made using Titanium and offers a battery life of up to seven days. The Galaxy Ring offers sleep analysis, heart and respiratory rate tracking, menstrual cycle tracking and more.


The watch comes in nine size options and will be available in three colours: Titanium Black, Titanium Silver and Titanium Gold. The device is currently being launched in limited markets and won’t be available in India.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra

Samsung also launched the new Galaxy Watch Ultra, the company’s new premium smartwatch with a rugged design that offers improved protection. The Galaxy Watch Ultra features a titanium frame and comes with 10ATM water resistance.


It comes with a new design, which the company has dubbed cushion design. It comes with a Quick action button, allowing you to initiate and control workouts and map other functions as per your requirements.

It comes in a single 47mm size and will be available in three colour options: Titanium Gray, Titanium White and Titanium Silver.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra is priced at ₹59,999.

Galaxy Watch 7

The Galaxy Watch 7 comes in two sizes: a 40mm dial and a 44mm dial. While the 40mm watch features a 1.3-inch Super AMOLED (432x432 pixels) display, the 44mm watch comes with a 1.5-inch Super AMOLED (480x480 pixels) display.


The smartwatch is powered by the Exynos W1000 processor with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It runs on Google's Wear OS-based One UI 6 Watch. While the 40mm variant is powered by a 300mAh battery, the 44mm variant comes with a 425mAh battery.

The Galaxy Watch 7 offers features such as heart rate monitoring, sleep monitoring, blood oxygen (SpO2) tracking, workout tracking and more. A new addition is the sleep analysis that uses an AI algorithm to track sleep apnea.

The Galaxy Watch Series 7 is priced starting at ₹29,999.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Series

Samsung also unveiled the Galaxy Buds 3 and the Buds 3 Pro, the company’s latest true wireless earbuds (TWS) at the Galaxy Unpacked event. The earbuds now offer a revamped design, with the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro offering an in-ear design.


The Galaxy Buds 3 is equipped with a 11mm dynamic driver and the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro is equipped with a two-way 10.5mm dynamic speaker with a 6.1mm planar. Both the earbuds offer three microphones and active noise cancellation (ANC).

Talking about the battery life, the Galaxy Buds 3 offers a battery life of five hours and an additional 25 hours with the case. The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro on the other hand offer a battery life of seven hours, with an additional battery life of up to 30 hours with the case.
