Vivo on Thursday launched its latest mid-range smartphone in the V series, dubbed as the Vivo V30e. The company had earlier launched the V30 and V30 Pro smartphones in India in March 2024.

The Vivo V30e is aimed at users looking for a good selfie camera and a long battery life. The device’s selfie camera offers 4K recording, which is not common in this segment.

The Vivo V30e is priced at ₹27,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant and ₹29,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage variant. It comes in Silk Blue and Velvet Red colour options and will be available from Flipkart, Vivo online store and the company’s authorised retail stores starting from May 9.

The Vivo V30e runs on Android 14 out of the box with the company’s Funtouch OS 14 skin on top. The device is promised to get three years of Android updates and four year of security updates. The smartphone features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Vivo V30e is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. It comes in two memory variants – 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage.

Coming to the camera department, the Vivo V30e features a dual camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP primary camera with Sony IMX882 sensor and OIS and a 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. On the front, the device sports a 50MP camera for selfies and video calling. Both the front and the rear cameras support 4K video recording.

The Vivo V30e is powered by a large 5,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. It comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and is IP64 rated for water and dust resistance.
