Korean smartphone maker Samsung today announced the launch of the Galaxy S10 Lite, the company’s latest affordable flagship smartphone in India. The company had launched the Galaxy Note 10 Lite was launched earlier this week.

The Galaxy S10 Lite is a toned-down version of the flagship Galaxy S10. The main highlight of the device includes the rear camera setup and the battery.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite has been priced at ₹39,999 and will go on sale from February 4. It will be available for pre-booking from 2PM today on Flipkart. The device comes in Prism White, Prism Black and Prism Blue color.

ICICI Bank card holders can get an additional cashback of ₹3,000 on the purchase of the Galaxy S10 Lite.

After the Galaxy Note 10 Lite, the Galaxy S10 Lite has also been priced to compete with the OnePlus flagships in the country. Samsung which was once the leader in the premium smartphone segment in India has been dethroned by OnePlus. It’ll be interesting to see if Samsung is able to gain back its market share with the Galaxy S10 Lite and the Galaxy Note 10 Lite.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite runs on Android 10 with OneUI 2.0 skinned on top. The device features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display.

In terms of performance, the Galaxy S10 Lite is powered by the Snapdragon 855 chipset coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Interestingly, the Galaxy S10 was launched with the Exynos 9820 chipset in India.
