Elon Musk is a known workaholic, and he has the numbers to back that up.
He told CNBC's David Faber he works throughout the year except for "two or three" days.

In response to a question about whether Tesla and SpaceX employees need to come into the office every day, Musk said he works "seven days a week," but that he's "not expecting others to do that." Musk also said that he thinks working remotely is "morally wrong."

"In terms of how many days in a year do I not put in some meaningful amount of work? It's probably about two or three," he told Faber.
He also said he gets about six hours of sleep a night.

"That's not bad, I thought it would be less," Faber said, to which, Musk responded: "I tried less. Even though I am awake more hours, I get less done. And the brain pain level is bad if I get less than six hours."
Musk's obsession with working long hours has been extensively covered in the media.
Musk did not immediately respond to Insider's requests for comment sent via Tesla outside regular business hours.
