The collectibles manufacturer Sideshow debuted a lifelike Baby Yoda replica on Wednesday and demand for the doll temporarily crashed the company's website.

Sideshow made the doll available for presale on its site for $350. The replica, which stands nearly 17 inches tall, won't be shipping out to customers until August 2020 at the earliest, according to the site.

"Every inch of this incredibly lifelike figure has been meticulously detailed to recreate everything that Star Wars fans love about the young alien, from the fuzz on its wrinkled head to its irresistible pout, all the way down to its tiny, toddling feet," the description for the doll says.

Customers tweeted about the site crashing late Wednesday, and the Sideshow's responded with a tweet saying, "Working on it... we are!"

The Baby Yoda doll stands just under 17 inches tall.

The site appeared to be running smoothly Thursday morning.

Baby Yoda, also known as The Child, is a beloved character from the "Star Wars" show "The Mandalorian." Toys featuring the character have been in high demand.

A Funko-branded Baby Yoda toy became a top-selling action figure on Amazon in early December. Build-A-Bear is also planning to debut a plush version of the character.
